Make health a family affair at Penge Festival and stop by the One Bromley Health and Wellbeing stand for free checks, and expert tips on ways to live more healthier lives on Saturday 2 August 2025.
Residents across Bromley are invited to join the fun at Penge Festival’s opening day, where One Bromley Local Care Partnership colleagues will be hosting a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Stand at Royston Field, Franklin Road, SE20 7QG, from 12 noon to 5pm.
“We’re proud to be part of Penge Festival and to bring health and wellbeing directly into the heart of our community,” said Dr Nada Lemic, Director of Public Health at Bromley Council. “Events like this are a fantastic way to connect with residents, offer practical support, and encourage everyone to take small steps toward a healthier lifestyle. Taking charge of your health with simple checkups now can mean avoiding bigger medical issues down the road.”
Teresa Rodriguez, Communications and Engagement Manager for NHS South East London Integrated Care Board said, “Every year One Bromley Health and Care partners get together to join Penge Festival. We bring the latest information on health and wellbeing in Penge and across the borough. This year we will bring self-care resources, promote the Vital 5 offer in Bromley, and signpost to other services available. If you are around, come to say hello.”
Organised by One Bromley Local Care Partnership, the stand will offer festival-goers the chance to:
- Speak directly with local health professionals
- Receive free blood pressure checks
- Get advice on immunisations and local health services
- Get weight loss and healthy weight advice
- Learn how to become a Community Champion
- Access signposting and support for a wide range of health topics
Whether you are looking to take control of your health, support your community, or simply learn more, the One Bromley Health and Wellbeing Stand is a must-visit during the festival.
The Penge Festival promises a vibrant day of music, food, family activities, and community spirit—so be sure to stop by the One Bromley stand and take a positive step toward better health.
