We are introducing new partners to continue providing essential health and social care equipment across the borough.
We have introduced new partners to provide essential health and social care equipment across the borough to help people to live at home.
Inspire Community Trust (trading as Inspire Medicare Ltd) have replaced NRS Healthcare (NRS) as our service providers.
Formed in March 2005, Inspire Community Trust (Inspire) has developed services in the borough of Bexley with services being expanded for residents in Bromley. Inspire have been providing other equipment services in Bromley since 2024.
Why this change is happening:
NRS Healthcare has wound down their business operations after being placed into administration by the courts. Read the official message from NRS.
We have quickly transitioned into a new partnership with Inspire to ensure continuity of service.
While we are working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible, we anticipate some temporary disruption or reduced services during this period. However, securing this partnership will ensure that current service levels are maintained for residents now and into the future.
Services affected:
All health and social care equipment provided through the local authority and community health therapy and nursing teams in Bromley are affected by this change.
We understand how important these services are to residents and are committed to keeping you informed throughout the process. We have provided updates to this page to illustrate the progress that has been made.
What this means for you:
We would like to reassure all residents and their families/carers that we will continue supporting those affected in our community to minimise the impact of any short-term disruption caused by these circumstances and will be prioritising support to protect those most impacted by this change.
Residents are reminded to stay vigilant in case fraudsters attempt to take advantage of this disruption, and to be assured that no one will be contacting you to request a payment of any kind relating to these services.
Inspire will take responsibility for processing equipment orders, deliveries and collections and will operate an equipment planned maintenance process.
However, if you have an outstanding order from NRS we recommend that you contact the prescriber of that equipment:
