The Council is saddened to learn of the passing of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent and extends its sincerest condolences.

The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Jonathan Andrews said, “We join with the Royal Family, and people across the borough and the nation, in mourning the loss of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent.

“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with His Majesty The King and all members of the Royal Family at this sad time.”

Residents wishing to express their own condolences are advised that an online book of condolence will be opened at www.royal.uk in the near future.  Floral tributes can be laid locally in Queens Gardens, Bromley.
