There will be no increase in car parking charges in the London Borough of Bromley in 2026.

Announcing the freeze, Councillor Nicholas Bennett JP, Executive Councillor for Transport, Highways and Road Safety said, "Despite the tough financial challenges the council faces because of low government grants, because the council continues to be extremely prudent, we are maintaining Bromley's record of keeping car parking charges probably the lowest in London and there will be no increase this year. Not only can you pay for periods of less than an hour on street, unlike other councils we don't penalise drivers by engine size or fuel. We recognise that for many residents the car is essential and by freezing charges we aren't adding to the cost of living rises families are facing".
