Young people with special educational needs and disabilities aged 14 to 25 are being invited to attend SEND Local Offer Live for Young People.

SEND Local Offer Live is a special event focused on confidence, independence and preparing for the future.

Taking place on Friday 26 June 2026, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, at Bromley Adult Education College, the event will bring together education, health and social care providers in one place, giving young people the chance to speak directly with services, ask questions and find out more about the support available to them.

The event has been designed specifically for young people and will include interactive activities and free taster sessions delivered by services on the day. It will offer a welcoming and practical opportunity for attendees to explore options, develop new skills and feel more informed about their next steps.

The focus of the event is on helping young people to build confidence and independence, while supporting them to make informed choices about education, employment, wellbeing, care and wider opportunities as they move into adulthood.

Councillor Jonathan Andrews, Executive Councillor for Children, Education and Families said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for young people with SEND to meet services face to face, ask the questions that matter to them and find out more about the support available locally.

“We want young people to feel confident, listened to and supported as they think about their future. Events like this help bring services together in an accessible and practical way, supporting independence and helping young people take informed next steps.”

Young people, parents, carers and professionals are encouraged to register their interest in attending.
