The £17m transformation of the Walnuts Leisure Centre is almost complete, with the early summer opening date set to be announced shortly.
Residents can sign up to the council’s Our Bromley e-newsletter to be informed as soon as the reopening date is announced. This will also enter residents into a prize draw for a one-year Mytime membership to enjoy the new state-of-the-art facilities at the Walnuts.
Complete the form online by midday on 15 June to enter the prize draw.
Walnuts Leisure Centre reopening prize draw form
The one-year 7-Day Leisure and Golf Membership prize has been donated by Mytime Active, the borough’s longstanding leisure provider, in anticipation of the special occasion when the centre reopens.
The leisure centre will open a bit later than originally anticipated, in part because further works were added during the build, including the repaving of the concourse. The works have almost been completed and Mytime Active has started moving equipment into the building, ready to welcome residents into their transformed leisure centre very soon.
The new leisure centre includes a competition-length pool, new sauna and steam rooms, bright and refreshed café and reception areas, new changing rooms and lockers, a new exercise studio, with state-of-the-art EGYM smart strength training equipment, and more.
