On 24 June 2022, the London Borough of Bromley confirmed the following non-immediate Article 4 Directions to remove PD rights granted under Part 1, Class B and C of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended):
- Petts Wood ASRC, Part 1, Class B and C (PDF - 470.39KB)
- Chislehurst Road Conservation Area, Part 1, Class C (PDF - 482.1KB)
The Directions will come into effect on 19 July 2022.

On 12 August 2022, the council cancelled a Direction which removed Part 1, Class B and C on front roofslopes only in the Petts Wood ASRC. The new Direction described above removes Part 1, Class B and C PD rights in the Petts Wood ASRC entirely. The cancelled Direction duplicated the new Direction and was therefore unnecessary.
