The Bromley Design Review Panel has been set up to provide independent, objective, expert advice at pre-application stage to support the delivery of high quality development across the borough.
The panel is made up of 22 members working at the highest level in the fields of architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, sustainable design, heritage and transport. The panel is an independent and impartial service provided to Bromley Council by Frame Projects.
For major development schemes, applicants are encouraged to undergo at least one design review; the timing and type of review should be agreed by planning officers. Development proposals referable to the Mayor must undergo at least one design review early in their preparation, before a planning application is made.
