Our enforcement remit forms part of Public Protection and Enforcement portfolio (PDF - 224.78 KB) and is wide-ranging. It includes everything from fly-tipping, food safety and licences to planning and public protection enforcement and much more.

Our aim is to educate and show the safe and correct way of going about your business in line with current legislation, and only prosecute if there’s really no other option.

Where evidence exists, we will prosecute and publicise and these are published online at latest news

The ‘We’re watching you’ campaign is not just about reducing fly-tipping to make a cleaner and safer Bromley, we’re on the look-out for all types of fraud, including benefits and blue badge misuse.

If you’ve seen something suspicious, help us and report it. Don’t forget, if you’re reporting an enviro-crime like fly-tipping or graffiti and your information helps us successfully prosecute an offender, you could receive up to £500 as a reward.
