Highway search enquiries
The Council hold records of highway maintenance responsibilities. The information includes the extent of the adopted highway relative to a property.
From 1 January 2024, the fees charged for highway search results will change to:
- Plans showing the extent of the highway and an explanation letter will cost £82.50
- A charge of £70 will be payable for a response to each additional question asked
How to request a search
Enquiries can be sent by email or by letter to the address below.
Please include contact details and provide a plan with the area of interest clearly marked.
We will then contact you and let you know the fees payable.
Fees can be paid by telephone using credit or debit card or by cheque.
You should allow ten working days to receive your search results.
