The Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) 'Z3' operates in the Clock House Rail Station area.
The council has received complaints from nearby residents in Yew Tree Road about the safety and accessibility problems due to parking congestion.
To address this issue fully, it is proposed to introduce waiting restrictions down the whole of one side of Yew Tree Road and to extend the CPZ 'Z3' to include Acacia Road, Yew Tree Road and Gowland Place.
We are consulting to seek your views on the proposal to be included in the CPZ Z3 which is operational from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 12 noon.
If the scheme is to go ahead, your road will have the same hours of controls as the existing CPZ ‘Z3’. The proposals consider pedestrian, including residents’ safety, accessibility for emergency vehicles and preventing commuters from parking on your roads.
