Tree felling notices
Bromley Council is required to consult on the removal of any street tree in accordance with Section 115 of the Environment Act 2021 and Section 96A of the Highways Act 1980, unless the proposed removal falls within one of the exemptions set out in the legislation.
Where consultation is required, a notice will be displayed on the tree and published for a minimum period of 28 days. Following the consultation period, the council’s decision will be published online.
