Sponsoring a tree is a meaningful way to make a lasting contribution to Bromley’s environment. You may wish to mark a special occasion, celebrate a milestone, recognise a loved one or simply give something back to the borough.
Every sponsored tree helps to enhance Bromley’s clean and green reputation by expanding our tree canopy, improving air quality, supporting wildlife, and creating a greener and healthier place for residents to enjoy.
Residents can sponsor a new tree in one of Bromley’s parks or, where suitable locations are available, on a street within the borough.
Register your interest by completing this tree sponsorship form.
Once your enquiry has been received, the council will:
- Assess potential planting locations and provide suitable options for your consideration
- Offer a selection of tree species appropriate to the chosen location, taking into account local conditions and long-term management requirements.
Detailed costs will also be provided before any commitment is made, allowing you to make an informed decision about your sponsorship.
Sponsored trees are planted during the council’s annual tree planting season which runs between November and the end of March. To be considered in the upcoming season, sponsorship requests should be submitted by the 31 of July. This allows sufficient time for site assessments, species selection and tree procurement. Requests after this date will usually be carried forward to the following years’ planting programme. We encourage residents to register their interest as early as possible.
