You can use this form to request the history of a property within the London Borough of Bromley.

Planning holds a public register of applications from 1948 and plans are typically held from 1965 on Microfiche. Before submitting any requests, please review the below guidance.

  • Please check our public register for planning history or documents - Register View
  • The relevant fees must be paid prior to commencement of any searches, and it is non-refundable, even if no records are found after searching our archives. Payments need to be made via the pre-planning application payment form.
  • We cannot guarantee the quality of plans/documents or that our records are complete.
  • Drawings held on microfiche typically consist of floor plans and elevations so please contact buildingcontrol@bromley.gov.uk for requests for structural plans.
  • For copies of TPO’s please contact trees@bromley.gov.uk.
  • For confirmation if S106 obligations are satisfied please contact cil@bromley.gov.uk.
  • Please be aware planning archives are held off site so enquiries will take between 10-15 working days one we receive payment.
  • For requests relating to copies of plans, the planning reference will be required otherwise a property history search is required. Copies of plans will be charged in addition to any property history searches.
