Bromley’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme annual report 2025 to 2026 - Feedback and continuous improvement
In 2025/26, we utilised a wide range of methods to gather and review feedback from parents and carers, children and young people, providers, and key stakeholders across the borough. This ensured that the programme remained responsive to local needs and informed by the experiences of those who participate in and deliver it.
Feedback was collected through a combination of online surveys, face-to-face group discussions, one-to-one conversations, written questionnaires, and quality assurance visits. These approaches enabled us to gather both qualitative and quantitative data, providing valuable insights into programme delivery, participant experiences, and areas for future development. This evidence continues to inform decision-making and support the ongoing enhancement of the programme.
Appendix A contains a selection of comments and testimonials from parents, carers, children, and young people and HAF Providers, who participated in the programme. Their feedback clearly demonstrates both the continued need for HAF provision and the positive impact it has on families across Bromley.
Our aim is to deliver a holistic programme that extends beyond the core requirements of the HAF framework. By providing additional support, signposting, family engagement opportunities, and wider wellbeing initiatives, we seek to address the broader needs of participating families.
We believe the positive feedback received reflects the value of this approach and the meaningful difference the programme continues to make within our communities.
