Using Public Access for Planning
By using the links to Public Access for Planning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions.
Our planning applications search enables you to follow the progress of a planning application, view application documentation (including plans), make a comment, search a weekly list of applications and decisions, view historic applications, view property details and search enforcement notices.
Planning Subscriptions
You can also ‘Subscribe for Notifications’ to receive emails by area (by ward) for planning decisions, applications to be decided at committee and valid applications based on your filters applied.
Please see our frequently asked questions for further guidance.
- When searching for planning application references for applications please ensure you include the suffix in the reference you enter e. 25/00001/FULL5 rather than 25/00001 and do not prefix the reference with DC/.
- If you can't find what you're looking for then use the advanced search tool to search applications within a specified period. The less refined your search, the broader the search results. You can add filters by category (e.g. Building Control Planning), description of works, site address, application type and define the dates of interest.
- Address Searching: Applications are recorded as per the address at the time of the planning application. Therefore, if the location/address of interest has been changed over time, you will not get the full history of the site using the most recent address. Where possible, also enter the full address as only key words of the address will broader the search results. For example - Example first line, Orpington, BR1 1DU.

If an application was determined under Delegated Authority the delegated report will be available to view within the documents listed in the online application file.
If the application was determined by a planning committee you can identify the date of the relevant committee by going into the individual online application file, selecting the important dates tab where the actual committee date is listed. Once you know the date of the meeting you can view the full agenda for that meeting by selecting the appropriate date.
