Winter weather advice

Make sure your prepared for the cold weather this winter. See the advice from the Directgov website.

In extreme conditions, it may become necessary for a school to shut.  Please follow any instructions you have received from your school. We will update the school closures page with the latest information we have received.

In the event of difficult weather conditions, we will make decisions about sending out the waste crews based on an assessment of the condition of roads, footpaths and the weather forecast.
