Safeguarding outcomeSafeguarding standards met Making sense of the inspection gradings:
- Met: The setting has an open culture in which safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
- Not met: Serious and/or widespread failures in safeguarding practice led to children, or particular groups of children, being unsafe. Breaches of the statutory requirements for safeguarding have a significant impact on children’s safety.
- Exceptional (blue): Setting will only be awarded this grade when practice is among the very best nationally, which should be shared with other schools or providers to help them improve.
- Strong standard (dark green): Marks out excellent, consistent work that’s making a real difference for children and learners.
