- Description
-
The Palace for Life Foundation offers a range of disability inclusive football programmes for children and young people across south London.
Their Disability Sport team provides specialist sessions for different needs, including Down’s Syndrome (DS Eagles), powerchair football, vision impaired football, and activities for young people with learning disabilities.
These sessions focus on building football skills, confidence, physical coordination, and social interaction in a supportive environment.
In Bromley, the Foundation runs weekly DS Eagles sessions that help develop core football skills and provide opportunities to take part in friendly matches and wider club activities. Sessions are led by trained disability coaches and designed to help participants improve agility, balance, and coordination while making new friends.
The Foundation also runs inclusive holiday camps that offer a variety of sports and creative activities for children and young people with SEND, providing a safe and supportive space during school breaks.
All sessions and camps are led by the Foundation’s experienced Disability Coaches and Care Assistants, managed by their full time Disability Department.
