Education service
We offer the following range of services to schools within the London Borough of Bromley:
- Facilitate class visits to the Local Studies Library.
- Provide talks on aspects of local history in schools or certain branch libraries (these sessions are charged at £35 for the first class and £17.50 for each additional class).
- Advise teachers on local resources relevant to the National Curriculum and planning of school projects.
- Supply source material such as photographs, census returns, Victorian and Edwardian house plans and maps etc. Please speak with us for advice about this service.
- Loan boxes of artefacts complete with teacher notes on various aspects of history.
