The future headquarters for Bromley Council’s new Civic Centre will be at Churchill Court where the Council has purchased a building previously owned by Direct Line.
Staff will begin moving into the new HQ during 2023 but all personal appointments will continue to take place at Stockwell Close until further notice.
The modern office accommodation at Churchill Court, opposite Bromley South Station, will become the Council’s new home by 2024 with the Stockwell Close Civic Centre being sold.
The anticipated proceeds of the sale of the other buildings on the current campus will help to fund the purchase of the new HQ site. The move will provide more efficient office space and will realise savings for taxpayers, plus a regular rental income from surplus space.
