Beckenham

Beckenham is the third largest town within the borough, with a catchment area encompassing a population of approximately 45,000.

The town is an interchange for bus, trains and trams, adding to its appeal as an accessible and appealing place to visit from surrounding areas. There are approximately 230 retailers, combining  national multiples with a wide variety of exclusive specialist businesses. Beckenham has an urban village feel, making it unique compared to other nearby towns.

Businesses in Beckenham Town Centre voted in favour of establishing a Business Improvement District (BID).

As a result the Beckenham Together BID company has been established to take on the day to day management of the town centre, operational from June 2018.

To find out more visit the Beckenham Together website.

The BID will be funded through a levy calculated on the rateable value of all businesses within Beckenham Town Centre.
