We aim to keep all our roads free from litter and rubbish and keep the borough as attractive and safe as possible

Although each street in the borough is scheduled to be cleaned regularly we realise than in between these cleans there can be a build up of litter on the street. When this happens and the street's cleanliness is significantly affected we will return to carry out an additional clean.

We monitor our street cleaning standards according to the DEFRA Code of Practice

We are not responsible for

Cleaning on un-adopted roads or private land. With the exception of parks and green spaces we do not provide dog waste bins in residential, commercial and retail areas.
