Rhododendron

Key identifying features of Rhododendron include:

  • Leathery green leaves with a pale underside (6 to 12cm long)
  • Leaves are at the end of a spiral stem
  • Pink / purple and occasionally whiteish flowers with 5 petals
  • Seed pods are formed after flowering

What we can do

We can remove Rhododendron within our parks, green spaces, and verges. However, we cannot remove Rhododendron from private property.
