Validation checklists - Prior Approval: Telecommunications

This is to be used for development under Schedule 2, Part 16 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended). This checklist is for guidance purpose only; please ensure to check the legislation for full details as they can be subject to change.

Application form Whilst not mandatory to validation, the Planning Portal requires a form to be submitted and this is useful to the submission. It is mandatory to provide a written description of proposal, and the developers contact details (if they wish to be contacted by email).

 

Application fee* Mandatory on all applications unless a valid exemption is applied.

You must submit a supporting document/cover letter explaining reason for exemption and any relevant accompanying evidence. Please note the Planning Portal admin fee still applies.

Photos Whilst a requirement this is not mandatory to make the application valid and can be provided after validation stage. A reminder email will be sent after validation stage if not provided.

 

Proposed site plan  Mandatory on all applications to provide a plan indicating its proposed location of the works.

Declaration Mandatory on all applications to provide a signed declaration confirming that the equipment has been designed to meet the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) public exposure guidelines.
