Validation checklist - Prior approval: Agriculture and Forestry
This is to be used for development under Schedule 2, Part 6 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended). This checklist is for guidance purpose only; please ensure to check the legislation for full details as they can be subject to change.

| Application form | It is mandatory to provide a written description of proposal, materials to be used and the developers contact address and email (if they wish to be contacted by email). |
This should be provided in the application form submitted through the Planning Portal. |

You must submit a supporting document/cover letter explaining reason for exemption and any relevant accompanying evidence. Please note the Planning Portal admin fee still applies. |

| Site location plan | Mandatory on all applications to provide a plan indicating the site. | This should be an up to date map of the site at a scale of 1:1250 or 1:2500 with the site outlined in red and should include all land necessary to carry out the proposed development (including access roads) as per NPPG guidance. |
| Block plan | Mandatory to provide details of the siting of the proposed works including means of construction of the private way. | This should be a plan to scale at 1:100, 1:200 or 1:500 with a scale bar or key dimensions annotated to show the proposed works hatched/outlined in relation to the site boundaries. |
| Existing and proposed floor plans/elevations | Mandatory to provide details of design and external appearance. | This should be in the form of proposed plans and elevations to scale at 1:50 or 1:100 with a scale bar or key dimensions annotated. |
