Validation checklists - Details reserved by condition

To be used to submit details for conditions attached to a previous planning permission where the conditions require further details to be submitted for approval by the council.

Please be aware this process is different from Removal or Variation of a Condition, please see checklist for Removal or Variation of Condition.

Forms and fees	When required	Further advice
Application form	Mandatory on all applications	Please ensure to include clear details of what document has been submitted to go with what condition. This can either be outlined in the form or a covering letter. Failure to do so will result in the application being invalid.
Application fee*	Mandatory on all applications unless a valid exemption is applied.	You must submit a supporting document/cover letter explaining reason for exemption and any relevant accompanying evidence. Please note the Planning Portal admin fee still applies. Please note that the ‘Householder’ conditions fee only applies to planning permissions for residential alterations and extensions to single family dwellinghouses. This does not include new dwellings or alterations/extensions to flats or maisonettes and so the higher conditions fee is then applicable.
