Overflowing litter bins
All our public litter bins are emptied on a frequency based on how regularly the footpaths are cleaned but there are locations where there is a need for an additional emptying schedule.
Where reports of overflowing litter bins are reported we aim to attend and empty within four working days.
As a general principle we do not place litter bins in residential streets unless there is a very specific reason to do so.
We do not site dog bins on the public highway only in our parks and greenspace areas.
If litter bins are abused we will monitor the area and may remove the bin.
